I love being home, although I never know what to expect from the kids the first night back. Besides the normal stuff, like Zeke screaming for covers in the middle of the night, it was pretty uneventful ... until 5am. We heard this awful screeching sound that woke both of us up. It was our ice maker and it sounded like something electrical with the water in the freezer. It made me a little nervous. We shook it and banged on it until it stopped. (Isn't that what you're supposed to do=)) We noticed that the ice in the bin was just big chunks of melted water that was refrozen. We thought it was fine so we just took the ice bin out to thaw it and start over.
Fast forward a couple of hours. I walk into the kitchen to a big puddle around the rug at the foot of the refrigerator. The temperature seems fine in the refrigerator but it is leaking now. What in the world?!
Does anybody know what we should do or what's going on? Any advice would be greatly appreciated=)

I'm not a plumber or a fridge-repair person, but I watched my friend Chris fix my parents' fridge from doing the same thing a couple of weeks ago.
First, he broke up all the frozen water from the bottom of the freezer. And then there was a little hole (one that's supposed to be there) in the bottom of the freezer. And he cleaned that out and it was fixed.
This would be a whole lot more helpful if I knew "technical" terms, or even methods. But .. maybe that'll help??
You may want to check/replace the hose that goes from the wall to the fridge. It could have a tiny hole as well causing the leak.
We are looking for someone who knows about the fridge as well Our daughter and son in law (Maggie and Paul...you guys played in their wedding.....you helped to make it amazing!. A couple of weeks or so, they noticed that their frige doesn't keep foods cold and the freezer has about 3 different levels of temperatures.
does anyone know anything about this. They can't afford to pay a repairman and are hopin to find someone that can help them.
