Looking Back March 2023

We introduced our boys to the art of shared mowing responsibilities and it has been a game changer people! We finally bit the bullet and invested in good soil for the garden to see how we do this year. Last year was a bust but I have the capacity to put in the energy for it this year with all the house stuff behind us. We had more family in and out this month. Uncle Ray even came to a couple soccer games this season! Chicks were hard to come by this year with the egg prices skyrocketing in grocery stores. I made a phone call every morning to tractor supply to check on their chick shipments and if they had some I would rearrange my schedule just to make it before they sold out, lol. Craziness I tell you! March brings March Madness, which our family has quickly fallen in love with. Josh found us some super cheap tickets to one of the first games so we piled in the van for a Field Trip Friday to go see Xavier and, well, I'll have to go back and see who they played. But it was a GREAT game!

Looking Back February 2023

We had SO many family and friends in and out of our home in February. We kept cousins, we celebrated both Jude (11 years old)  and Rainy's (18) birthdays. Construction was still underway but we were determined to try to see the beauty through all the machines. We also made it back out to the Aviary for a Field Trip Friday.

Looking Back September 2022

Friday Field Trips were back in session! This particular one was very memorable. Just ask Zeke about flying drones over bodies of water and what he thinks about warranties for expensive electronics, lol. We also squeezed in another couple of weddings at beautiful venues, FINALLY took our Father's Day tradition pictures (I'm the worst at holidays!), explored SEBTS on a chapel morning that we played for and I got my girls into a Lee Brice concert (in the pouring rain, mind you!). He's an old buddy of mine who decided to go and get country famous!

Looking Back - October 2021

We gave our house a facelift and painted it white...FINALLY
We finished up our soccer seasons
And of course got in some quality friend time
One Sunday morning we realized that our little frizzle feather chickens got out of the fenced in area.
Cow, our rooster disappeared and after 3 days Jude spotted him walking around the yard across the street. It took him a good week or two to normalize.
We actually thought he might not make it, but he is alive and thriving now!
Andy Cherry came in and did a house show at the Clodfelter's home.
