Looking Back - The Ladies Get A New Home and A Homegoing

The land behind us was finally purchased so we knew the time to relocate the chicken coop was coming close.  We pictured the perfect place to relocate the ladies and the Mayhugh's gifted us a new coop to add to their village. Heidi and her crew even came over and helped us put the fence in!

Right around that same time we lost our white duck, Happy.  Everest became noticeably sad and you could almost see her becoming depressed. Ducks need each other. So we decided that she needed to be with other ducks. So we loaded up the van and drove her to Lake Lynn and let her take off to find her new forever family. It was a sad day, but we knew it was the best thing for her.

Looking Back - April 2020

We spent a LOT of time outside in April!

Rainy had her first driving experience. Mad props for learning to drive in a 15-passenger van!

Rainy also had weekly zoom calls with her 1st graders that she teaches at church.
She and Grace put together some gifts to hand deliver during quarantine.

Zeke learned how to grill

Lots of zoom meets to stay connected to friends.

A favorite was mowing trails through the field to different "camping sites" that the kids would set up

Nighttime reading together.
Zeke was so sweet taking turns reading to Cai and Jude at night.

Oh...and we added a couple of ducks to the family to warm our hearts!
