In Our Own Backyard

When we moved here we were sad to say goodbye to our little country house in Henderson with apples, grapes, nuts and a never ending supply of BEAUTIFUL flowers.

We were pleasantly surprised when the fall came around here in Charlotte and we discovered that we have some of those same things in our backyard here too!!  We have an apple tree with sweet, green apples (although you have to be careful because some of them have the scariest looking worms in them that I've ever seen) and a grape vine with tiny little grapes that when you take a bite you have more seed than grape in your mouth, but are grapes none-the-less.  We also have the mystery tomato plant that appeared through the brick out of nowhere with an unending supply of cherry tomatoes.

All this in our own backyard=)

Nice Tash!! Hey Jen taught me that if you clean those apples with Baking soda that the black stuff will come off. It works! (If you want them to be pretty)

I'm a little jealous...I want to find fruit in my backyard!
