Happy 15th Anniversary (for our 16th Anniversary) ~ A Story In Pictures

We are always running a little behind on celebrations around here.  For example, Jude's birthday was February 9th and I have yet to plan his birthday outing with a buddy.  We are just trying to promote the discipline of patience;)

So we finally made our big 15 year anniversary getaway right after celebrating our 16th.  We decided to go back to Cancun like we did for our 10th anniversary (on our 11th anniversary...see what I mean?).

It did NOT disappoint.

My parents were gracious enough to come hang out here with the kids and take them around to all of their life things while we got away for 5 whole nights of uninterrupted, quiet, peaceful, relaxing, time together.  No instruments, no kids, no agenda...just us and the beach and all the food we wanted to eat, ha!

Embarking on our journey

I thought this was so cool!  I looked out my window and saw our airplane
reflecting on the clouds beneath us.

We were getting so close.  The water was turning crystal clear

Josh brought a book bag FULL of Spanish Gospel tracts and Bibles.
The guy on the cooler was SO anxious to get His and couldn't stop reading it
as soon as Josh told him what it was.

The view as soon as we walked into our room

We woke up with a beautiful sunrise EVERY SINGLE MORNING as we listened to the surf and birds

This was our favorite place to go every night after dinner.  It was a rooftop lounge overlooking the city.

We even kissed a couple of times while we were gone.

And some of this happened too.

YOGA!

Coffee and reading on the beach were a favorite morning occurrence.
