It's always a gamble when we choose to skip naps around here.
So we NEVER skip naps.
Nope, sleep is ALWAYS top priority.
Besides, it's not like Rainy and Zeke were exhausted after staying awake all night tickling each other and telling silly stories with their Daddy while camping out
and then going straight to a pool party at Ms. Patti's and swimming for 3 hours.
So when 3pm rolled around, all of our children were acting like sweet little angels.
Yes. Yes they were.
There was NO screaming or temper tantrums or fighting or arguing or melting.
Nope, not in this house.
By the time it was 3:30pm Josh and I would NEVER need to look at each other as if to say, "Is it bed time yet?"
Because my children ALWAYS act like angels...and Josh and I treasure each and every moment with them:)
And seeing as our kids were acting so angelic we WOULD NOT have agreed to move their 8:00 bedtime to 7:30pm.
Only to turn around and move it up to 7pm shortly after.
Only to turn around and move it up to 6:30pm.
Nope, there would have to be some MAJOR meltdowns for that to happen.
But what would it take to make us decide that 6pm would, in fact, be the perfect bed time for the Colony?
I don't know, 'cause that would NEVER happen in this house.
And even if it did, Josh and I would NEVER decide to call it a night and go to bed at 8:30 ourselves.
Not my kids.
Not my house.
