Yard Debris Edition
1- Josh gets Poison Ivy (or SOMETHING) every time he mows our yard!
2- It seems to get worse over the years.
3- He was outside in like 100 degree weather with shoes, socks, jeans and a long-sleeved shirt
4- He STILL got poison...something
5- Does anybody know something preventative he can do besides wearing a snowsuit in the summer to get some stinkin' yard work done?=)

How about "Ivy Block" or something similar. They also have special soaps to use after being exposed to poison ivy.

Kyle is the exact same way, except he is SSOOO allergic to the stuff that we'd end up paying for two doctors visits and two rounds of antibiotics every time he mowed the lawn. That's over $60! So we pay a teenager in the neighborhood $25 to mow and weed-eat our lawn now, and we actually SAVE money by not having to go to the doctor.
Wow, Jonathan gets it too...must be a bro-thar thing. So sorry Tash!!
You can get your lawn treated for poison ivy by tru-green or one of the various lawn companies. My parents always had to do that because my dad was highly allergic to it too. It might be an expense up front...but you probably would be glad you did!
I don't have an answer for you about the poison ivy. I know my dad is very sensitive as well.
