Josh and I play a game to see how long we can go in the fall/winter until we turn the heat on. It was FREEZING when we woke up! I didn't even take this picture until 10am and it was only 59 inside. We decided to build a fire and have some fun family time in the living room this morning while we warmed up. The kids LOVED it!

I've got you beat. It has been in the 30's here in Missouri this past weekend (in the morning).
We are coming to NC next week. We will be staying with Carl's cousin near Fayetville/Fort Bragg. We also have family and friends in Lillington, Franklinton, Zebulon and Fuquay-Varina. We are going to spend some time in Raleigh and also (hopefully) in Wilmington. Where will you guys be from Oct. 29-Nov. 2? Would love to catch a performance!
This was a last minute trip. Hubby just realized that I had two weeks off, so he convinced me to go on a road trip.
I've already caved and turned on the heat, but my oldest keeps asking when we are going to build a fire!
The lowest ours got before I caved in was 62F. I wish we could have a fire. We have a closed fireplace that is gas but we're afraid to try it out.
