This morning we had a thunderstorm, and Cana came into our bedroom to cuddle...she said she was afraid of the thunder and lightening. Here is a little of our conversation:
"...I'm sorry Cana...you know Aunt Tasha. Aunt Tasha LOVES storms!! They make her really happy!"
"She does? Does Areyna?" -Cana
"Yes, so does Areyna! She loves to watch the storms too!"
"She does! Wow!..." -Cana
Cana was encouraged this morning to hear that Areyna loves storms and that they don't scare her:)
Your children will love what (or whom) you love. As they see your love for the Savior, they will love Him too. As they see your love for their daddy, they will love and admire him even more.
It is very humbling how much our children learn from us. It does remind us to always let them see Jesus.
We love storms at the Broome house too, Tash!!!! (Of course, Fred always turns on the news to make sure it's not a "hall closet worthy" weather condition! Ha!!) It was so great talking with you today...thanks so much for calling. We miss y'all and love you lots!

No, I think I like Stormy.
Not only will they be influenced by the things you love, but also by the things you "hate", your fears, and your attitudes. (Scary, huh?)
