Day 3: HaHa Tonk - Homestead

Despite getting to our Airbnb after midnight the night before we wanted to get an early-ish start to the day. We had some awesome castle ruins to see and we wanted to leave ample time at our place to stay. We were headed to Josh's cousin's homestead to spend the night.

But first, our stop at HaHa Tonk State Park castle ruins and Natural Bridge. There was a LOT to see here, and we didn't even come close to seeing it all, but Rainy did hike down to the waterfall and get a glimpse of its glory. I don't have pictures of what she captured, but it was gorgeous!

Rainy leaving her baby trademark wherever she adventures, lol

The next stop was our much-needed break in the trip to stop driving to visit Josh's cousin and his family. This was the first time the kids met this family. It was so nice to play games and runaround outside with kids, hang out with the animals and cook dinner together. Adam and Leslie, thank you so much for opening up your home. It was SO good to visit with you!
