Monday's are our day off. It's just our family. I LOVE this day. Ahhh...
We have realized that it quickly becomes just another day if we aren't proactive in finding something to do as a family.
This week we went on a nature trail near our house. It was AMAZING!
Some parts of the trail go off in the woods...
...other parts lead to streams and ponds...
...we saw crawdads and fish...
...we tasted honeysuckle...
...we took full advantage of nature...
...the trails are endless and we didn't nearly see it all...
...we saw dear and dragonflies...
...now this is homeschooling at its finest...
...even if I did end up pushing bear's stroller most of the way:)

Oh awesome, Tasha!! You told me the story this morning, but the photos really help the day come to life!! Makes me want to come over and walk it sometime! What a great Monday!! I love that you also appreciate the joy of an OUR FAMILY ONLY day. They don't come often enough!!
Great pictures. When we homeschooled,
we worked hard to get all of our work done in 4 days so that we could have Friday's off to go do something fun...but educational.
