PRAYERS WERE ANSWERED
9/7/11 - As we prepare to travel we have a lot of loose ends to tie up here at home with the ministry and work before we head out.  Pray that we keep our focus on Christ and pray that we don't over-complicate this time.  Pray that we will enjoy this time as a family and see it as an adventure...with a VERY HAPPY ENDING!  We also still need a few thousand dollars to reach our goal.  Pray that we will rest in His provision of the funds to bring our little girl safely home.
8/22/11 - Since we have been assigned a judge now we are just waiting to get word of a court date when we can travel.  We are praying sooner than later now with a new fervency.  We have a new baby coming into the world at the beginning of February and traveling can get more and more complicated as the pregnancy gets further and further along.
6/03/11 - Our I-171H finally arrived!  Thank you for your payers.  Next step, getting our paperwork submitted to court and assigned to a judge.
5/25/11 - we are waiting for our I171-H/Immigration Approval.  It has been a month now and nothing.  Pray we get this document in soon.  Also, courts in Uganda are taking a break mid-July to mid-August.  We are praying for a miracle to happen for us to be able to travel and finalize our adoption before that break.
3/24/11 - we are waiting on the last document to be notarized and then our Dossier will be complete.  We'll be mailing it off to our agency.  Pray for peace while we wait.  Pray for a smooth process.  Pray for me as I balance this whole process while trying to be the wife and mother I need to be.
2/23/11 - we are trying to patiently wait for our home study approval.  We were told it would be completed over 2 weeks ago.  Pray that we will rest in His timing.
12/03/10 - we need you to intercede for us.  We are having some communication issues between the orphanage and the agency.  We are in the first round of adoptions coming from this orphanage and there are A LOT of details to iron out to make this program a well-oiled machine for those families that follow us.  Please pray for open communication.  Also, for action.  We are not seeing results on the Uganda side of things toward paperwork, medicals and Affidavits.  Please pray that action will begin to take place.  We can't bring these children home without both countries consent.
